We get a number of questions relating to the venue for different events all the time, so in an effort to help you before you attend, we have listed some of them here for you to peruse before the event to make your visit as stress-free as possible!

WHAT TIME DOES THE EVENT OPEN?

Comic Con Scotland opens at the same time over the course of the weekend this time is as follows:

 

Saturday Early Entry/Diamond Pass Entry: 9.00am

Saturday Standard Entry: 11.00am

Saturday Closing: 6.00pm

 

Sunday Early Entry/Diamond Pass Entry: 9.00am

Sunday Standard Entry: 11.00am

Sunday Closing: 6.00pm

 

DO YOU HAVE CAR PARKING?

The Royal Highland Centre has parking for 20,000 cars. Parking at the Royal Highland Centre is accessible from the North Car Park Entry. Parking is £10 per car, per day.

 

DO YOU HAVE A CASH MACHINE?

The Royal Bank of Scotland has a permanent ATM facility inside of the Royal Highland Centre at the East entrance, however, this is not always available during events, so we strongly advise that you bring plenty of cash with you on the day to make sure you do not miss out.

 

We also have card terminals at each guest's table as well as in the photo areas where you can purchase photo ops, autographs, selfies, and COA certificates.

 

Finally, it is worth noting that the vast majority of traders accept cards as well as cash, but always check with the trader before purchasing an item.

 

DO YOU HAVE WI-FI?

Wi-Fi access to the public is available within The Royal Highland Centre, simply speak to a member of staff or the front office for the password.

 

DOES THE VENUE OFFER DISABLED ACCESS?

Both the Comic Con Scotland event and the Royal Highland Centre venue are completely disabled friendly with full access to all areas of the event. WHAT FOOD AND DRINK OPTIONS DO YOU OFFER?

There are food and drink options available throughout the Royal Highland Centre with a very good selection at very good prices.

 

Food and drink from home are permitted at the event but a strict no-alcohol policy is in place.

 

DO YOU HAVE ACCOMMODATION NEARBY?

There are various accommodation options throughout the area.

 

WHAT DO I DO IF I NEED FIRST AID?

If you have or witness a medical emergency during the event, please find, a member of the Royal Highland Centre staff or a Comic Con Scotland volunteer who will assist you in finding medical care.

 

DO YOU HAVE BABY CHANGING FACILITIES?

Baby changing facilities are available within the public toilet facilities.

 

CAN I SMOKE AT THE VENUE?

The Royal Highland Centre has a no smoking policy. There are however specific outside smoking areas for those wishing to smoke during Comic Con Scotland.
