Props & Set Builds

One of the highlights of any Monopoly Events convention or show is the huge range of life size vehicles, props and set builds, put together especially for each event by our hardworking team members for you to enjoy!

t-70 X-WING FIGHTER

STAR WARS - THE FORCE UNLEASHED

The T-70 X-wing fighter, was the successor to the T-65B X-wing starfighter, manufactured for use by the New Republic Defense Fleet. Faster and more expensive and complex than the former T-65B, the T-70 featured advanced weaponry and proved more versatile than its predecessor, and was essential in both dogfights and capital-ship scale combat operations.

THE WAMPA

STAR WARS: The Empire Strikes Back

Wampa ice creatures are carnivorous predatory reptomammals indigenous to the remote Outer Rim Territories ice planet Hoth. The bipedal beasts stand over two meters in height with shaggy white fur constantly stained with the gore of slaughtered prey. Wampas are armed with jagged yellow teeth and deadly claws. 

THE TARDIS

DOCTOR WHO

The TARDIS "Time And Relative Dimension In Space" is a time machine and spacecraft that appears in the TV show Doctor Who. While other TARDISes have the ability to change their appearance in order to blend in with their surroundings, the "chameleon circuit" in the Doctor's TARDIS is broken, and it always resembles a police box. 

GMC VANDURA

THE A-TEAM

The 1983 GMC Vandura van used by the A-Team, with its characteristic red stripe, black and red turbine mag wheels, and rooftop spoiler, has become an enduring pop culture icon. A number of devices were seen in the back of the van in different episodes, including a mini printing press, an audio surveillance recording device, and a gun storage locker.

LAPD CRUISER

BEVERLY HILLS COP

The squad cars that were on screen throughout the Beverly Hills Cop movies were mainly Chevrolet Malibu models,  manufactured and marketed by Chevrolet from 1964 to 1983. The Malibu began as a trim-level of the Chevrolet Chevelle, becoming its own model line in 1978. 

THE ALBHABET WALL

STRANGER THINGS

The alphabet wall was painted by Joyce Byers in season one of Stranger Things in an effort to communicate with her son Will who was lost in "The Upside Down". using a string of lights above each letter of the the alphabet, Joyce was able to "speak" to Will and he in turn was able to warn her of the oncoming Demigorgon attack.

PIPERS PIT STUDIO

CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING

Piper's Pit was an interview segment featuring Rowdy Roddy Piper on Championship Wrestling and Wrestling at the Chase in 1984-87. During one famous Piper's Pit, Piper insulted Jimmy Snuka's Polynesian heritage and attacked him by smashing him over the head with a coconut.

GREMLINS KITCHEN

GREMLINS

Featuring "Blender", a member of the first batch of Gremlins. After seeing the opened cocoons, Lynn walks downstairs and peers into the kitchen, where Blender is eating out of the, well, blender. Lynn tip-toes in and pushes the start button, chopping him into green chunks, leaving his legs sticking out of he top of the blender as Lynn stops it.

DOBBY THE HOUSE ELF

HARRY POTTER SERIES

Dobby is a house-elf in the Harry Potter series. Once owned by the wicked Malfoy family, he first appears to discourage Harry from returning to Hogwarts, Harry later frees Dobby with a sock. Later he rescues Harry and his friends from the Malfoys, Bellatrix LeStrange and ultimately Voldemort, but is fatally stabbed by Bellatrix as he disapperates.

THE CLOCK TOWER

BACK TO THE FUTURE SERIES

Probably the most famous set of the Back to the Future series, The Hill Valley Courthouse and Clock Tower, underwent several changes over the course of its 130-year history. It was first constructed in 1885 and was struck by lightning during an electrical storm on November 12, 1955. This fused the clock's internal mechanism and stopped the clock at 10:04pm.

BTTF MINI MUSEUM

This BTTF prop display, the largest of its kind in the UK, has been 34 years in the making and features original screen used items from the movies, including a Hoverboard, Marty and Doc’s Walkie-Talkie and the rehydrated pizza wrapper to name but a few, as well as many high-end custom replicas such as Griff’s Pitbull Hoverboard (the only one of its kind in the UK) and many, many more.

The prestigious Viper Mark One (also referred to as the Starhound Class Viper) is the first model of the illustrious Colonial Viper space superiority fighter line. The Mark One first entered military service shortly before the First Cylon War as a preemptive counteraction against the now independent Cylon Fleet, the Viper Mark One was later replaced with the Viper Mark II.

POWER LOADER

ALIENS

The P-5000 Power Loader, is a commercial mechanized exoskeleton used for lifting heavy materials and objects. As well as widespread industrial use, the P-5000 is heavily employed by the US Colonial Marine Corps to load ordnance on board their starships. Power Loaders are equipped with hydraulic "claws" that can be used to hold and manipulate a variety of objects.

F.L.A.G. MOBILE UNIT

KNIGHT RIDER

The F.L.A.G. Mobile Unit is a semi-trailer truck owned by the Foundation for Law and Government, which functions as a mobile garage for K.I.T.T. and a mobile Headquarters for Devon Miles to relay information to Michael when Michael's and K.I.T.T.'s missions bring them far enough away from F.L.A.G.'s standard HQ. 

FRANKENSTEIN

MAD MAX WASTELANDS CAR

This truly awesome fan built "Frankenstein" car has been carefully built and styled by its owners to give it a REAL post-apocalyptic Mad Max wastelands vibe. It even has machine guns fitted to the roof and side panels! What's more, it's completely road legal!

The Simpson's has been a late afternoon television staple of most households for over 25 years. One thing that has remained constant in all that time is the family couch, the scene of many gags at the start of the show. Each episode has its own unique way of depicting the Simpson family dashing to the living room to watch themselves on TV. 

THE FUNERAL PARLOUR

WWF's SUPERSTARS OF WRESTLING

The Funeral Parlor was a WWF interview segment featuring host Paul Bearer, which aired on the WWF's syndicated Superstars of Wrestling in 1991 and 1992. The set was decorated with coffins and other macabre items, much like the parlor of a funeral home. The interview segment itself was used to help get Bearer and his protege, The Undertaker, over with the audience.

E.T. FOREST SET

E.T. THE EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL

Featuring Elliot and Mikes BMX bikes, a huge alien spacecraft, plenty of foliage and the loveable alien himself, this is an amazing realistic forest set replicating the segment at the end of the classic and beloved movie, where E.T. is picked up by his alien family as the mother ship returns to Earth to take him back to his "hoooome".

LYON ESTATES LION

BACK TO THE FUTURE SERIES

Lyon Estates was a housing subdivision located two miles south of downtown Hill Valley where the McFlys lived in Back to the Future. In the 1955 segment of the film, Lyon Estates was in the very early stages of construction, with only the famous lion statues in place and groundbreaking scheduled for the coming winter.

THE DELOREAN

BACK TO THE FUTURE SERIES

The DeLorean time machine as featured in the Back to the Future franchise was built by Dr. Emmett L. Brown and based on a DeLorean car, to allow him to gain insights into history and the future. Instead, he ends up using it to travel over 130 years of Hill Valley history with Marty McFly to change the past for the better and to undo the negative effects of time travel.

TIE FIGHTER

STAR WARS - A NEW HOPE

The TIE/LN starfighter, or TIE/line starfighter, simply known as the TIE Fighter or T/F, was the standard Imperial starfighter seen in massive numbers throughout most of the Galactic Civil War and onward. Colloquially, Rebel and New Republic pilots referred to the craft as "eyeballs."

1989 BATWING

BATMAN

The Batwing was Batman's custom-built air combat vehicle. The craft was fully armed with mini-guns and missiles. It was unknown where the vehicle was stored, but it was presumably kept somewhere near the grounds of Wayne Manor or was in the Batcave. This is the 1989 version of the classic vehicle.

HAMMERSTEIN

ABC WARRIORS - 2000AD

Hammerstein is a fictional robot who first appeared in 1978 as a member of Ro-Busters in the comic Starlord but is best known as the leader of the ABC Warriors in 2000AD. He is described as a Mark III war droid and was commissioned in the early 21st Century to fight in the Volgan Wars. During combat operations his head has a grim human-like face.

KITT

KNIGHT RIDER

KITT (an acronym for Knight Industries Two Thousand) is a fictional computer that controls the high-tech Knight 2000, a black Pontiac Firebird Trans Am T-Top automobile. Driven by Michael Knight (David Hasselhoff) in the cult TV show from the 80s, Knight Rider, K.I.T.T. is programmed primarily to protect Michael and all human life at all costs.

Vigo & SlIMER

GHOSTBUSTERS I & II

Slimer was a legendary ghost at the Sedgewick Hotel. His usual territory was the twelfth floor, but his outings were usually non-violent and simply involved gorging himself on food from room service carts. Vigo the Carpathian, a sixteenth-century legendary tyrant trapped in a painting in the museum needed a child to possess to become human again.

PRIME TIME STUDIO

WWF PRIME TIME WRESTLING

WWF Prime Time Wrestling was a pro wrestling TV show that was produced by the WWF. It aired on the USA Network from January 1, 1985 to January 4, 1993. A precursor to Monday Night Raw, it was a two-hour long, weekly program that featured stars of the WWF. The program featured wrestling matches, interviews, promos, updates of current feuds and more.

BARBER SHOP SET

WWF PRIME TIME WRESTLING

The Barber Shop was an interview segment in the same sort of style as Piper's Pit and The Funeral Parlour which was hosted by Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake during WWF Prime Time Wrestling.  The Rockers split up on the segment when Shawn Michaels superkicked partner Marty Jannetty and threw him through a plate glass window; turning Michaels into a heel.

THE IRON THRONE

GAME OF THRONES

Allegedly forged from 1000 swords surrendered to Aegon the Conqueror in the War of Conquest, by the lord who had sworn fealty to the new King, although in actuality the throne is made from only around 200 swords, the Iron Throne is the throne upon which the King of the Andals and the First Men sits, located in the Great Hall of the Red Keep in the city of King's Landing.

Hill Valley, California, was the hometown of the McFly family, the Brown family, the Tannen family, as well as several thousands more including the Strickland family in Back to the Future. The city has three high schools including Hill Valley High School. It has a welcome billboard which alters through the years but ultimately keeps the same design. 

BRAINWAVE ANALYZER

BACK TO THE FUTURE SERIES

The brain-wave analyzer was one of the inventions Emmett Brown created in 1955. It was intended to allow him to read someone else's thoughts. It consisted of a helmet with a metal geodesic framework that held several cylindrical devices pointed at his head, with electrical wires that led from each of these devices to either a small helmet strapped to his dog's head.
