"Jean-Claude Van Damme, WWE great The Undertaker, Christopher Lloyd and three stars of hit TV show Sons of Anarchy are among those in town for the massive event. Actor Burt Young, is also set to meet fans along with stars of Game of Thrones, Beverly Hills Cop and Star Wars. There will also be a Simpsons lounge 'set-build', a School of Witchcraft and Wizardry zone and a For the Love of Sci -Fi Zone with the T-70 X-Wing from Star Wars, the Battlestar Galactica Colonian Viper and the E.T. Forest Set with ET."

"Jean-Claude Van Damme is just one of the stars coming out to play next weekend at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston, when Comic Con Scotland returns to the Capital. The Belgian actor famous for action films such as Bloodsport, Timecop and The Expendables heads an impressive roster of famous names that includes WWE Superstar The Undertaker aka Mark William Calaway, actor Christopher Lloyd and Michel Qissi, who played Tong Po, the violent adversary of JCVD in  Kickboxer."

"Sons of Anarchy fans have the chance to meet three of the hit TV series' most prominent stars at Comic Con Scotland. Kim Coates, Mark Boone Junior and Tommy Flanagan – or Tig, Bobby and Chibs – will ride into town on the weekend October 12 and 13.  All three stars will be appearing all weekend, and there will also be opportunities to spend some time with them away from the crowds during the 'meet and greet' which includes autographs, photos and selfies."

"Star Wars fans will be able to get their pictures taken with a life-sized X-Wing and TIE Fighter at Comic Con Scotland in Edinburgh. The event will have more than 50 props and sets from the world of science fiction and movies. As well as the T-70 X-Wing there will be a life-sized Viper from Battlestar Galactica. Back To The Future Fans can also see the classic Delorean while Doctor Who's Tardis will also be on display. It's been described as the largest set and prop display ever seen at a UK convention."

"WWE legend The Undertaker is coming to Scotland for Comic Con. The wrestling icon, 54, is set to appear at the two-day convention in Edinburgh in October. The grappling hero, real name Mark Calaway, will meet thousands of Scots wrestling fans at the event, while posing for photos and signing autographs. It’s understood Calaway will attend for one day only on Sunday October 13."

"Scottish wrestling fans have been handed a "once-in-a-lifetime opportunity" to meet one of the sport's greatest competitors. The organisers of Comic Con Scotland have revealed tonight that 17-time championship winner The Undertaker will meet and greet fans at October's event. Comic Con Scotland, which runs from October 12-13, will be The Undertaker's only UK appearance in the "foreseeable future"."

"Legendary pro wrestler The Undertaker is coming to Edinburgh in October, giving fans a rare opportunity to meet him. The Phenom will be appearing at Comic Con Scotland at the Royal Highland Centre in Ingliston. The Wrestlemania mainstay, whose real name is Mark Calaway, is keen to maintain his character and until recently has tended to avoid open events. Earlier this year he cancelled an appearance in Glasgow, being replaced by Mick Foley."

"WWE wrestling legend The Undertaker has been announced as a guest at this years Comic-Con event in Edinburgh. The 54-year-old, four-times undisputed world champion, is one of the biggest names in the wrestling industry. Known as the Deadman and The Phenom, Taker has been a fan-favourite since making his WWF debut in 1990 thanks to high-profile feuds with fellow stars including Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels and his on-screen brother Kane."

"Stars of telly classic Sons of Anarchy will roar into this year's Comic Con Scotland. Though the series ended five years ago, demand for the show about the outlaw motorcycle club continues to grow. Promoter Andy Kleek, CEO of Monopoly Events, has confirmed that Kim Coates, Mark Boone Jr and Glasgow actor Tommy Flanagan will all be appearing. Fans will be ecstatic to meet the trio after they went on to even bigger things following the conclusion of the show."

"A host of movie stars have announced appearances at Comic Con Scotland, taking place at the Royal Highland Centre in Ingliston. Hollywood legend Jean Claude Van Damme tops the line-up, but there are plenty of other big screen tough guys making appearances. These include Rory McCann, The Hound from Game of Thrones, and Ray Park, the Scottish actor who played Darth Maul in Star Wars."

"The 58-year-old martial arts expert - best known for his action-packed fight flicks like Bloodsport and Kickboxer - will be meeting fans at the event in October. Last year the film icon he returned to his role in Kickboxer: Retaliation, a sequel to the reboot. The two-day celebration is being held at The Royal Highland Centre and promises to be packed full of celeb guests from across the world, Q&A sessions with stars and traders selling fantasy and sci-fi goodies."

"Game of Thrones star Rory McCann is to make a star appearance at this year's Comic Con Scotland. The 50-year-old Glasgow actor - best known for portraying Sandor "The Hound" Clegane on the fantasy hit - will be meeting fans at the event in October. Standing at a whopping 6 ft 6, Rory will be hard to miss when a galaxy of stars arrive for the convention later this year."

"Christopher Lloyd is jetting over to Scotland for this year's Comic Con. The Hollywood veteran, who starred in the Back to the Future trilogy, will make an appearance at the Edinburgh convention.Lloyd is also famed for his roles as Uncle Fester in the Addams Family and Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. His work in comedy series Taxi and drama Road to Avonlea saw him take home two Emmy awards during his glittering career."

"Highlander legend Christopher Lambert is to make his first ever Scottish convention appearance in Edinburgh this October. The French actor who is best known as Connor MacLeod in the cult adventure-fantasy film will appear alongside a host of stars from the Nineties at Comic Con Scotland. The event, set to run from 12 to 13 October at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston, will also feature Fresh Prince of Bel Air’s Hilary, actress Karyn Parsons."

"Comic Con Scotland – from Andy Kleek and the Monopoly Events team – is in its second year. The 2018 event, Scotland Comic Con – For The Love Of 80s, was a massive hit with fans bringing stars like Knight Rider’s David Hasselhoff, The Incredible Hulk star Lou Ferrigno and Ghostbuster legends Ernie Hudson, Ray Parker Junior and William Atherton."

"The US actress, who played bratty Hilary Banks in the hit comedy series, will be meeting fans at the event in October. Parsons, 52, starred in the show - which launched Will Smith's career - from 1990 to 1996. She's since appeared in a number of movies and TV shows, including popular drama series Melrose Place. Parsons is also the creator of Sweet Blackberry, a line of animated films about unsung black heroes."

"The US puppeteer Tim Rose played three major characters in the blockbuster franchise - Admiral Ackbar, Sy Snootles and Salacious B. Crumb. Tim, 62, is one of a series of big-name acts to be appearing at the event, which is heading for the capital in October. The two-day celebration is being held at The Royal Highland Centre and promises to be packed full of celeb guests from across the world, Q&A sessions with stars and traders selling fantasy and sci-fi goodies."

"One of Scottish football’s most unlikely fans showed his colours as he took in the sights in Edinburgh. Former Knight Rider star David Hasselhoff was sporting a Partick Thistle shirt in the Instagram snaps taken ahead of his appearance at Comic Con in the Scottish capital. Hasselhoff has previously talked about how his love for the Jags grew during a stint appearing in panto in Glasgow."

"Comic Con Scotland took place this weekend just passed and I was lucky enough to receive a press pass so I could cover the event for Gamers. Dubbed For the Love of 80s, this is the first convention on Scottish soil for Monopoly Events, the convention organisers and as you can understand by the shows title, it was dedicated to all things 1980s!"

"While attending the “For the love of the 80’s” convention, I had the opportunity to speak with actor Robert MacNaughton - who played everyone's older big brother Michael in the timeless 1982 movie ET: The Extra Terrestrial - in between signings and selfies with his fans."

"Lou Ferrigno got to relive his days as the original Incredible Hulk as he celebrated his 67th birthday. The US actor marked the occasion while attending the launch of the For The Love of 80s Comic Con event in Edinburgh on Friday. He rubbed shoulders with a number of superhero greats from the much-loved shows of that era, including Flash Gordan's Sam Jones and former Doctor Who Sylvester McCoy, as he was treated to a Hulk-inspired birthday cake.  "

"Knight Rider and Baywatch star David Hasselhoff has been pictured wandering around Edinburgh - in a Partick Thistle top. The actor was spotted posing for pictures with stunned locals and taking in the sights of the capital ahead of his appearance at an 80s-themed comic-con event this weekend. He is set to meet fans at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on Saturday and Sunday."

"He's the 80s icon who won audiences over around the world with his performance in the hit TV show Knight Rider. And David Hasselhoff celebrated his illustrious career by attending Scotland Comic Con at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on Saturday. The Hoff, 66, was joined by his wife Hayley Roberts, 39, who sat by his side while he sat and met with eager fans to sign their memorabilia and take photographs."

"BAYWATCH legend David Hasselhoff has proved he's a loyal Partick Thistle fan - as he's spotted walking around Edinburgh in a Jags football shirt. The 66-year-old revealed he had a soft spot for the team back in 2015, and it seems his support is still going strong. The Hoff shared snaps of his latest visit to the capital on social media, proudly wearing the team's football shirt amid cheers of "come on the Jags"."

"A Musselburgh baker pulled out all the stops to make a cake fit for The Incredible Hulk’s birthday. Hollywood actor Lou Ferrigno was in Edinburgh ahead of his Comic Con Scotland appearance and the big task of baking him a cake to celebrate his 67th birthday fell to the Honest Toun’s Bee’s Cakery."

"The Incredible Hulk star Lou Ferrigno is having a smashing time in Scotland. The TV idol and bodybuilding champ was joined by other 80s legends - including Flash Gordon's Sam Jones and Rex Smith from Street Hawk - in Edinburgh ahead of their Comic Con Scotland appearance.
