Appearing All Weekend

John Bruce is currently working as a sketch card artist providing one off original art for some of the top trading card companies including Topps and Upper Deck.

Card sets include Lucasfilm, Disney and Netflix licensed properties. For Topps John has worked on Star Wars, Stranger Things and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. For Upper Deck artwork was created for Aliens, The X-files and upcoming card sets to be announced featuring Miramax and Marvel characters. Other card work includes Zorro, White Zombie and The Evil Dead. He can't wait to see you all at Comic Con Scotland and will also be selling prints and original artwork!


Appearing All Weekend

Matt Adcock is the author of new sci-fi sensation Complete Darkness which tells what might happen if we accidentally map 'Hell' whilst investigating Dark Matter.  Matt has worked in communications for over 20 years and written hundreds of film reviews for a group of newspapers – but this is his first novel. It comes out in October. Matt is a lover of all things virtual, sci-fi, superhero and theological… He will be giving away limited edition collectable art cards, created by artists inspired by Complete Darkness.


He loves to interact with fellow sci-fi fans and is looking forward to meeting you at Comic Con Scotland!


Appearing All Weekend

Nick Gribbon is an artist with a BA Hnrs Illustration degree, and works as a sketch card artist illustrating for Topps, Upper Deck, And Rittenhouse Archives. As a Lucasfilm approved artist, he has hand drawn sketch card artwork for Official Star Wars trading card sets, including the recent Star Wars Black And White - Empire Strikes Back set. He has worked on artwork for licensed properties from Miramax Films, Legendary Pictures/Netflix, and Marvel Studios. Nick has an extensive collection of pre-drawn comic book sketch covers that he brings to display and sell at Comic Cons and Pop Culture Events, as well as a large portfolio of original art, and he also draws at his table.

A familiar and friendly face on the convention circuit, Sheikh Islam (Fish) is a self-taught artist who doesn’t let his colour blindness stop him from creating breath-taking pieces in the science fiction and fantasy genres that he loves.


Utilising a number of different mediums, he has worked on various licensed card sets for TOPPS, including Lucasfilm approved Star Wars artwork.


Topps sets that Sheikh has worked on include, Journey to the last Jedi, Galactic Files, Masterworks, Chrome and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for Nickolodeon.
