street hawk bike

The motorcycles used in the Street Hawk series were based on 1984 Honda XR500s. During filming, the fiberglass bike parts constantly flew off the bike during the course of stunt work. The film stunt second unit crew always had six bikes standing by to replace the hero bike's jump or manoeuvre. When first unit was on stage at Universal Studios, the second stunt crew were on location filming with a stunt biker performing with the bike. The stunt bikes were always in Universal Studios' effects shop being repaired or replaced with parts. A motorcycle shop, not far from the studio, three miles on Lankershim Boulevard, always supplied new frames and wheels for the stunt bikes. Winfield Special Projects in Canoga Park made all body panels and special effects.

A-team van

The van used by the A-Team was a 1983 GMC Vandura, with its characteristic red stripe, black and red turbine mag wheels, and rooftop spoiler, has become an enduring pop culture icon. A number of devices were seen in the back of the van in different episodes, including a mini printing press ("Pros and Cons"), an audio surveillance recording device ("A Small and Deadly War"), Hannibal's disguise kits in various episodes, and a gun storage locker. Early examples of the van had a red GMC logo on the front grille, and an additional GMC logo on the rear left door. Early in the second season, these logos were blacked out, although GMC continued to supply vans and receive a credit on the closing credits of each episode. Since A-Team many GMC/Chevrolet Vandura vans have been styled after the A-Team's van by fans of the show.

JOHNNY 5

Started in 2016 using plans based from the original Johnny 5, this project has grown from a small hobby project to a massively popular replica robot of a beloved icon. Using the 3D printing platform to create each of the hundreds if not thousands of parts that are needed to construct his body and a variety of electronics to bring him to life. As time goes on his abilities will increase until he realises his full potential.

He is six feet tall, his tracks are fully motorised so he can move around, he can turn his head, his eyes light up and change colours, his eye flaps are motorised and can open and close and also have multiple different expressions as he has in the movie.

The small radar on his head also raises and turns and he can speak, using either quotes from the original movies or he can speak. When he speaks his lips lights also light up as they did in the movie.
